Memories of Ellen Battin

Ellen is one of the nicest people I know, someone with whom you feel comfortable right away. She has a very down-to-earth personality, no pretenses. I bet she's a fantastic grade school teacher. I'm happy she ended up with one of the nicest guys from MHS!

1999 Update

Spouse: Tim Pedersen

Children: Sarah Diane, 13 !

Occupation: Elementary School Teacher

Tim’s Occupation: Sr. Systems Analyst/American Airlines

What's New: We have been watching Sarah grow - next year she begins high school!! Scary...... She is a joy, though! Never gotten anything but A's all along, and always does well! We are very proud of her. We have just started some more remodeling of the house, which is mainly done by Tim, and I supervise. We have lived in the same house since '86, and have continually updated it.... This is just the next phase!

I've been teaching since.... well, a really long time. I teach kindergarten here in the Tulsa Public Schools. I love it. Tim's been working at American Airlines since '88. They won't let him fly the thing, but he gets to do lots of other really fun stuff, like implement changes in the computer system used by about 500 folks in the Inventory Management and Supply departments. Keeps him off the streets... Hobbies..... let's see. The biggest one is investing and trying to figure out how to retire permanently to have some real fun. Current plan is to retire by either 50 or 55 and do something we truly enjoy. Cross your fingers.........
