Memories of Sherrie Caudle

First of all Twaddle, the car was a weird shade of green, my favorite lunch spot was Shlokie's but noooo... you had to have the big M. She was the only friend of the female type, except for Pam Vail, but she had graduated by then so that doesn't really count, right? Anyway, it has been nice to get back in touch with a good friend (I can't say "old" friend since we are the same age??) Lets just say, it's good to keep in touch with people that have been important to us. Thanks to Sherrie and to Mark for his work on the web site.

2001 Update

Children:
  • Lindy Jean, 16
  • Sauni Rae, 14

  • What's New: This fall I will be starting my 11th year of teaching Special Education in Colchester. My oldest daughter, Lindy, just got her drivers license. Watch out if you drive in Macomb! She will be a sophomore at MHS this fall. My younger daughter, Sauni, will be 14 in August and will be starting 8th grade. Most of the improvements to my home are finished. What a relief! Our dog, Oscar, has a new playmate, our kitten, Clawdia.

    1999 Update

I am divorced and living in Macomb on Yeiser Street. 521 E. Yeiser to be exact. I will be starting my 9th year teaching at Colchester Elementary. I teach Special Education to 4, 5, and 6th. grades. It changes from year to year. Looks like this year I will be with only 3rd and 4th grades. I really love it. I am trying to fix up the house I bought and keep my eye out for my 14-year old and my 11- soon to be 12-year old. Lindy Jean is 14 and in the 8th grade and Sauni Rae is going to be 12, and is going into the 6th grade. Lord help me keep away the boys! We also have a 1-year old miniature wire-hair dachshund named Oscar and he is a big part of the family. I am dating a guy from the class of 77. Do you remember Kyle Murfin? We hooked up about 2 years ago and he just moved back to Macomb from Denver CO. We had been friends for 23 years and just decided to try and see if being friends first really is a good thing. So far, so good. My hobbies are on hold now because of the work on the house and running the girls, so I really can't put any down thus far. I like anything to do with space and reading about it, sewing and making things for myself and the girls, puttering in the yard (trying to put in one of those dang water ponds) are the things right now. Once a month I have lunch with Mary Teresa Guzzardo and Lisa Silberer....sometimes Lori Summers when she doesn't have to work. That's it for now!
