Cedar Rapids, IA 52403 (319) 363-8982 1996 Update Spouse: Mike Children: 3 dogs, 2 birds Occupation: Playwright What I've done in the last 20 years: Married my best friend in 1981. I've spent many years trying my hand at various writing forms before falling in love with playwrighting in 1988. Since then, one of my plays been published and four of my plays have been produced in Canada and the US, including a six-week run of "soul survivors" off-off-Broadway in 1994. What I plan to do in the next 20 years: Keep writing plays. Im currently revising my musical comedy for October 96, opening in Chicago at the Greenview Arts Center. I'm also trying to convince my husband Mike, to turn his drumming sideline into a career so I can load the 3 dogs, 2 birds and 1 computer into the van and follow him and his "gigs" around the country. A playwright/rock'n'roll groupie!!! A girl can dream, can't she? Words of advice to the Class of 1996: Never follow advice, follow your dream. If I had followed advice, today I'd be a secretary. A DEAD secretary!!
