Occupation of Domestic Partner: Senior Systems Analyst (Geographic Information Systems)

    What's New:
    • MS in Medical Bacteriology/Biochemistry from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
    • Graduate work published in several journals. Did not enjoy killing so many mice.
    • Taught immunology, bacteriology, and the like to gifted and talented HS students.
    • Played viola in several area symphonies: Lubbock, Amarillo, San Angelo, TX, Albuquerque and Roswell, NM were the regulars
    • Ran lots of marathons and did triathlons.
    • Met Bryan at Marine Corps Marathon, Wash DC, in 1988. No, he is not a marine, he WAS Navy: nuclear submarine officer (USS DALLAS).
    • Won a trip to Japan and had a blast.
    • Met up with MHS teacher Louis Simshauser in Hong Kong for a lovely visit (1990). She is an incredible articulate lady with a continued desire to learn.
    • Moved to Wash DC area.
    • Worked as strings teacher in public school system, played viola in quartet, played in several area symphonies while deciding what career path to take.
    • Went to nursing school, worked in critcal care (open heart ICU) a lot.
    • Still not satisfied: went to nurse practitioner school at George Washington Medical School/George Mason Univ Collaborative program.
    • Had first child, Nancy Marie, during spring break of my last semester of nurse practitioner school.
    • Realized that parenthood is underrated. Now Nancy has a sister, Rebecca Alice is a lot of fun.
